Coastal Critters is WildlifeXposure’s signature Marine Life incursion program, offering a unique, hands-on, and educational journey into the wonders of Australia’s underwater world. Designed for students and audiences of all ages, this captivating marine wildlife experience brings the ocean straight to your classroom, early learning centre, community event, or venue—no snorkel required!
Through our stunning live aquarium display, participants are introduced to the fascinating marine animals that call Western Port and Port Phillip Bays home. From colourful sea creatures to quirky ocean dwellers, this program showcases the incredible biodiversity found along Victoria’s world-class coastline.
For Early Learning & Primary Schools
Our program is especially popular with kindergarten and primary school students, where it sparks curiosity, supports sensory exploration, and encourages foundational understanding of marine life.
Guided by our passionate marine educators, children are immersed in a safe, interactive learning environment where they can touch and observe real sea animals up close. We foster early science engagement through age-appropriate storytelling, fun facts, and hands-on exploration—bringing the mysteries of the ocean to life in a way that’s exciting, memorable, and educational.
Every animal in our care is ethically collected and lovingly maintained under strict Victorian Fisheries Authority licensing, ensuring that every incursion is not only educational, but environmentally responsible.
Please note: Due to the more delicate nature of the live animals, the depth of content, and the hands-on interactions involved, this program is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.
