Bringing wildlife, nature & conservation into your classroom
Exploring and learning about living things, nature and the environment becomes an unforgettable, hands-on adventure with a WildlifeXposure incursion. Our unique wildlife incursions turn ordinary lessons into engaging, real-life educational experiences that students will never forget.
Each program is carefully developed to align with the Victorian science curriculum, ensuring key learning outcomes are delivered through fun, interactive and highly educational presentations. Students get up close to wildlife, deepening their understanding of nature, biological science, ecosystems and conservation.
Programs by Year Level
Foundation & Levels 1–2

Students explore the basic needs of living things, how their external features help them survive in different places, how they grow and change throughout their lives, and their role in healthy ecosystems.
Levels 3-4

Students investigate how animals are classified and grouped based on features and adaptations, learn to distinguish living from non-living things, and explore life cycles, habitats, food chains and food webs, and the critical roles animals play in maintaining ecosystems.
Levels 5-6

Students explore animal body designs and adaptations in greater depth, including physical and behavioural traits. They learn how animals are classified (e.g. mammals, reptiles, nocturnal vs. diurnal), and how biotic and abiotic factors drive adaptations, helping species thrive across Australia’s diverse environments and extreme conditions.
Safe, ethical & expertly delivered
Our animals are captive-bred, hand-reared and carefully chosen to ensure they are suitable for live incursions. Students learn how to safely handle wildlife, guided by our experienced wildlife demonstrators, creating a positive and safe experience for both students and animals.
Every program is delivered by qualified wildlife educators and handlers. We guarantee all students are included, with the opportunity to hold, touch, learn about and experience wildlife first-hand.
We are proud of our high standards of animal welfare and ethical practices. The wellbeing of our animals is always our top priority, and they play an important role as ambassadors for conservation and their wild counterparts.
- Max 30 students per 1-hour session to ensure a quality, inclusive experience.
- A clear space for students to sit in a semi-circle.
- Approximately 3m x 1m area for animals and display boards.
Programs can be run in classrooms (with tables cleared), school halls, libraries or multi-purpose rooms. For multiple sessions, staying set up in one space with rotating groups works best.
We are flexible and will work with you to create the best possible educational experience.
Bookings can be made by phone or email. Once confirmed, we’ll send you a written booking confirmation and invoice.
- Payment is due on the day of the incursion by credit card or direct transfer.
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your booking date by email to info@wildlifexposure.com.au, or full charges will apply.
