WildlifeXposure programs deliver highly engaging, interactive wildlife incursions that enrich your classroom by bringing real-life science experiences directly to your students. Carefully designed in consultation with experienced senior biology teachers, our programs align with the Victorian science curriculum and integrate seamlessly into your existing units of work.
Students explore and examine Australian wildlife up close, deepening their understanding of biological science, ecological relationships, and conservation, while fostering a genuine appreciation for nature.
Programs for Levels 7–8

At this level, our wildlife incursions can be tailored to focus on key science concepts such as:
- Body designs and adaptations
- Classification using hierarchical taxonomic systems (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species)
- Biotic and biotic factors influencing adaptations
- Energy flows, food chains and food webs
- Roles of primary, secondary, and tertiary consumers in ecosystems and the importance of biodiversity
- Homeostasis and body systems
Our programs also encourage students to explore human impacts on the environment, providing real-world examples of how direct and indirect actions affect species and their ecosystems.

These wildlife incursions are adapted to suit more advanced biological science topics, including:

Students will also explore how human activities influence species distribution, populations, and broader environmental health.

How We Deliver Quality Wildlife Incursions Safely and Ethically
All WildlifeXposure animals are bred in captivity, hand-reared, and carefully selected to ensure they are suitable for travel and interactive learning. Our qualified wildlife handlers guide students in safe handling practices, creating positive, hands-on learning experiences while prioritising animal welfare.
We pride ourselves on ethical wildlife education. Our animals serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts, helping students understand the importance of conservation. The wellbeing of our animals is paramount, and we uphold the highest standards of care across all presentations.
To ensure the highest quality, inclusive educational experience, we work with:
- A maximum of 30 students per 1-hour session
- A clear space for students to sit in a semi-circle
- An area approximately 3m x 1m for animals and displays
Our wildlife incursions have been successfully delivered in classrooms, science labs (with tables cleared), school halls, libraries, multi-purpose rooms, and auditoriums. For multiple sessions, setting up in one area with students rotating works best.

- Payment is required on the date of the incursion and can be made by phone (credit card) or via online direct transfer.
- Cancellations must be emailed to info@wildlifexposure.com.au at least 7 days prior to the booking date, otherwise full payment will apply.
